Auction Grading Sheet
This translated version of an auction sheet tells you information about the car to decide if it is within your guidelines to justify inspecting it . There is general information about the car regarding its year of manufacture, kilometers, Air Conditioning, LHD or RHD and so on. There is also gradings on the cars overall condition, interior condition and exterior condition based on objective assessments made by the auction houses staff who inspect all cars before they go through the auction. The legend below the auction sheet tells you the gradings the auction staff use to describe things like scratches, dents, interior condition and overall condition. If you are a regular buyer of cars out of Japan it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with auction sheets so at a glance you will know if this car is what you are looking for.

A1:Scratch or crack, 2- 3cm
A2:Scratch or crack,less than 10cm
A3:Scratch or crack,more than 20cm
U or B 1:Dent of "a bean "size
U or B 2:Dent,less than 10cm
U or B 3:Dent,more than 20cm
W1:Repaint in as new condition
W2:Repair & repaint in good condition
W3:Repair but the gloss of surface is bad
